Voltage Protection on HPP+ Solar Parallel Combiner?

Is there any additional documentation for this product (SKU 70030)?

According to the Escape Remote Wiring Kit Install Guide (page 3, lefthand diagram), this combiner can be used to combine roof top solar, vehicle alternator, and an HPP+ Bulkhead fitting to charge the Yeti 4000 Pro. Does this set up protect the vehicle start battery from solar panel voltages above the float voltage?

Do I need to add some sort of over voltage protection between the combiner and my start battery?

    Hi @Gray,

    The Parallel combiner will not allow any back flow from the solar panels or AC power to the car battery. The big box in the middle also runs data from the Yeti which allows it to block off the ports that are not being used when connecting different sources of power (not just solar panels).
