Does the Lighthouse 600 have over discharge protection for the batteries? I recently purchased one and when it arrived it was completely dead, some one switched it on. I like to run my lithium batteries on an 80-20 cycle as much as possible for longevity. Has the battery been damaged due to being flattened?

The Lighthouse 600 does come with discharge protection. The battery does not truly hit 0% when discharged all the way. This ensures the battery keeps some voltage and does not get damaged. The only time this is a problem is if the battery is left at a "0%" state for a long period of time.
