Yeti 400 Turning off
I've had a Yeti 400, lead acid version, for years. I use it as an emergency back power on a hospital mattress. The bed is always plugged in and so is the charger.
Recently it shut off randomly and within 2 days the battery drained despite nothing plugged in.
Replaced the battery and it seemed fine, however it is just shutting off now and requires the AC button turned on to use again.
Is this a sign of an internal failure of the AC system?
Thanks

Hi @PaonB,
It sounds like the inverter on the Yeti 400 is starting to go bad. Please contact our solution center through the link below. They will be able to further assist with this issue.

Hi @PaonB,
Do you know how long it takes to shut off between you turning the inverter on and it turning off? In the past, did the inverter stay on all the time even if it wasn't being used?

Sorry for the delay.
The unit worked flawlessly for 4+ years and 2 batteries. I always had the unit plugged into the wall and to the mattress and never once did the ac turn off.
After the 3rd battery change, the 1st time it turned off was after 17hrs of use and the 2nd time was about 3hrs. Both just powered off.
The mattress was showing an output of 38W constantly, no fluctuations, while showing and input of 6W from the wall
