I have a 500 that is a few years old. I keep it stored and plugged in per manual. Recently I have noticed that the display shows it low on juice. I have rest it a few times and it the info displayed shows it as full charge.

Today I noticed it was not charged even though it has been plugged in for weeks. A reset does nothing to change the display as in the past.

You stored it few years while plugged in without a use? If this is right it seems the cells are dead. To increase lifespan use the battery, drain it regularly to 50% before recharge. The worst thing what you can do with such units is let it sitting without any kind of using.

If you are in the US, contact Goal Zero to replace the battery pack. If you are (like me) not in the US ... it's bad, no service for replace a dead battery pack. In this case the whole thing is a bunch of litter 😐️
