We have a cinder block well house; we have a problem with pipes freezing if we lose power in a storm. The pipes are wrapped with heat tape the activates when temps drop below 41 degrees (the pipes are also insulated). Would also like to run a space heater but I think that is asking too much. Can you leave the power station plugged into AC with the heat tape connected to it, will it provide power both when the electricity is on and when it fails?

Hi @DanH525
How much power does the heat tapes use? The Yeti 700 can output a max of 600W through the inverter with a 1000W surge.
