Smart Alternator charging issue solved?
Has the smart alternator charging issue been solved? I just updated to firmware Ver. 1.8.8 on my 1500X. Has charging rate improved?

Pretty sure that has been addressed. Have you given it a try or do you not have the Yeti Link yet?

I've had my set up for about a year, but work has gotten in the way of travel. I upgraded the firmware this evening and hoping I get better charging tomorrow. I can't find a history of firmware release dates on the website….

Updated the firmware last night and ran the vehicle (2022 Jeep JLU 3.6L eTorque) this morning. Much improved charging speed. Thank you GoalZero for the firmware update!

Release notes can be found here for the 1500X. I think there may be a way to get to them from the App at the bottom of the firmware update page.

What steps did you have to take to get it to work? I have the latest FW 1.8.8 (1.8.4 in the link) and it's not charging at all in car mode.

I was getting some charging before the update. Charging speed increased significantly for me after the update. If you are not getting any charge at all, I don't know what the issue is. Good luck!
