Yeti 300 Firmware Update Not Completing

I have a similar issue to what seems to have been resolved for other models in the thread below. I bought it brand new several months ago and have tried everything including putting it on different internets / hotspots / etc but eventually gave up. I recently had to use it again during a power outage and tried again in vein to upgrade the FW. Mine is stuck at 1% and never progresses.
Yeti 300 120v
Current FW 1.1.6
Newest (now) is 1.3.1
Is this possibly the same issue that needs addressed for the 300 series? Id be happy if I could just put the FW on a USB stick and use a specific port and button press combo. Not sure if thats an option but I see this thing runs an API/Elastic type of server on it. I would think there is a way to do this.
