Capacity loss after 2.5 years - Yeti Lithium 1000
Hi
I own since January 2020 a Yet Lithium 1000 I'm very happy with. But since a few months it's loading only up to 83% (on it's display). So for me it looks like it has lost 17% of it's capacity in just 2.5 years??
Can that be and is that normal?

@mangold This discussion has a little breakdown about capacity. I think it really depends on how the user has used the battery. Do you cycle the battery everyday or is it something you use for camping once or twice a year? It might be a good idea to try the factory reset and cycle the battery 3-5 times. Don't need to drain it to 0% but take it down to 30% or 40% and charge it back up.
To perform a Factory Reset, the user can HOLD the UNITS and INFO buttons together for about 7-10 seconds.

Thanks for the link to the other discussion and your tip.
A factory reset I've done shortly and cycled it once. Let me use the battery and recharge it then as you recommended.
I didn't use it too have in the past and also avoided to discharge it too much. But I think in the last months I almost didn't use it so cycling it a few times could help indeed.
Cheers

Hi
Id unvortunatelly didn't help :(. My Yeti is loading just till 81% and shows 12.3 volts :(
I saw that I can currently get around 710Wh out of it after a "full/max" charge.
So looks like the capacity is really lost already...

Check your charging profile in the yeti app on your phone, unless you have it set to Performance mode, it won’t charge to 100%
