Hey everyone, I bought a lighthouse 600 and it says 5W max for the input. Can I use a charger with more watts, like a phone charger or will I risk any damage?
Thanks.

In general, electronic devices only take the power that they need as long as the voltage is correct, including all our solar inputs for our power banks and power stations. USB has extra protection because a voltage agreement has to be established between the USB source and the USB load or it defaults to 5V. If you connected the Lighthouse 600 to a USB PD 30W port, the lighthouse would only accept the 5V default and would not be at risk of using the higher voltages the port can provide if requested.
Does that help?
