Hi there, I am super new to solar and portable. I am thinking of driving across the country and wanting a refrigerator in my SUV. I am guessing a briefcase would do. I guess I would also charge my laptop, eventually. Nikki

Polarities on SAE cable?
Hello, I'm looking to connect my Boulder 200 Briefcase w/ 20amp controller to my travel trailer, which has a Furion port. I found the correct 2-pin adaptor which will allow me to connect the 2, but the adaptor (found here) came with a polarity reversal connection, which makes me wonder if all SAE connections are set up the…

Recently she's found an issue with her charging system, asking me to seek a solution by posting here (i.e. I don't exactly know about the techicality). She described to me that the system initially…

How to change battery type on 20 amp charge controller?
I'd like to test my boulder 200 briefcase + 20 amp charge controller on a new LiFeP04 battery, but I can't change the battery type on the charge controller. Do I need to hook it up to the battery first, then change the battery type? It's currently set to WET, and I don't wanna damage the new battery.

I am new to the lithium world. My 1st purchase was the yeti 1000x. I am very happy with it. Now I've gotten some off brand(Dokio 160w) solar panels. My question is, will an external mppt charge controller improve the charging time or does the integrated mppt controller all I need? I have managed 75 to 80 watts with the…

Chaining GZ Solar Panels
I recently purchased a Yeti 1500 with a Boulder 100 Briefcase panel, and a Yeti 200 with a Nomad 20 panel. I already own a Nomad 20 panel and a Torch 500. I expected the Boulder 100 Briefcase (B100B) panel to collect less than 100 Watts at my Midatlantic home. On a recent sunny day it peaked around 82 Watts based on the…

Used Solar Panel
Can I connect used residential solar panels to the Yeti Link to charge the Expansion Tank? I have a yeti 1500x which the panels charge it ok but I am not sure if the input volts is too much for the Yeti Link. See photo for solar panel specs. The used panel's output is about 85% (according to seller) of the wattage listed.…

Connecting Boulder 200 Briefcase to 2x Boulder 100 Panels -> Yeti 1000x
Hello Goal Zero Community! I recently chased after my dream of that sweet-sweet van-life and purchased a van with an existing solar setup. Inverter to connect 2 Boulder 200 to the grid
I have two Goal Zero Boulder 200 and a Yeti 1500X. Is there a way to connect the solar panels to the grid without the Yeti (to feed directly into the grid)? How many panels are too many for a Yeti 1500?
I have a Yeti 1500X with Nomad 100 and 50 solar panels. I am thinking of adding a Boulder 100 suitcase panel for faster charging but am concerned it might be too much. Combiner is missing cap
Hello, I just bought a second Boulder 200 solar panel. To connect it to my Yeti box, I also bought a 4X High Power Port Combiner. So far so good. Can the Yeti 1500X / 3000X / 6000X be damaged by too much HPP charge?
In a perfect world I'd like to get the full 600W charging capacity out of solar panels. But in my experience I get 170W average (210W spikes) on 3 Boulder 100 panels on a clear summer day - and this was only possible after I replaced the GZ 30' 12AWG HPP cable with a 3rd party 10' 10AWG HPP cable. If I did the math based…
